Going to Isla Verde by Private Car & Public Boat from Metro Manila

When taking a private land vehicle, follow directions below.

A. To Tabangao Port with side trip to Bagong Palengke

Follow these steps if you need to go to the market to shop for food and other stuff; there are no marketplaces in Isla Verde.

1. Take SLEX, then STAR Tollway, then exit to Balagtas.

2. Upon reaching Balagtas junction, go straight to Diversion Road.

3. Turn left under the flyover.

4. Go straight ahead along P. Burgos St.,  then turn right upon reaching rotunda (by this time, you will have gone past the City Hall).

5. Turn left to the DJPMM Access Road 1. It leads to Bagong Palengke. (Bagong Palengke is open from 2:30 am.)

From Bagong Palengke going to Tabangao, take DJPMM Access Road 2; just go with the flow of passenger jeepneys passing by the market. You know you are at DJPMM Access Road 2 when you see the Batangas City Sport Center (Coliseum).

6. Then turn right to Rizal Avenue, turn left to D Silang St., go right to Evangelista St, then, right again to P Burgos St.

7. Go straight back to rotunda, but this time, turn left and go past the Immaculate Conception Church and to the Calumpang Bridge.

8. Turn right upon reaching 7 Eleven Convenience Store opposite Shell Gas Station.

9. Go straight ahead then turn right to a narrower street by the General Milling Corporation. You will find an even narrower street on the left. It leads to the Tabangao Port.

B. Going Straight to Tabangao Port

1. Take SLEX, then STAR Tollway, then exit to Balagtas.

2. Upon reaching Balagtas junction, turn left to Balagtas-Alangilan Road (National Highway) towards the Lions’ monument.

3. At the Lions’ monument, the road splits. Keep left.

4. Turn left to Don Ramos; then, turn right to the road leading to SM City. Go past SM, Shell Gas Station, and 7 Eleven (do no turn right) all the way to the General Milling Corporation. Turn right; then, left to a narrow street leading to the Tabangao Port.

Tabangao Port Land Vehicle Parking Fee: 100 to 200 pesos per vehicle overnight

Note:

There’s another port used by Isla Verde boats. It’s called dela Paz. Dela Paz is used only during Habagat (Southwest Monsoon season). It’s nearer Isla Verde and a preferred docking location during Habagat because the sea is rough in other areas, specifically around Tabangao. We will update this page soon for directions on how to get there via private car.
